APRIL RUN N FUN DAYS AT THE HUB

CAMP INFORMATION

Ages: 5-14

Campers will be broken into age groups: 5-6, 7-9, 10-11, & 12-14

Gender: Coed

Day-Camp: 9:00am – 4:00pm
- Registration can be completed online, over the phone 603-405-0007, or in person (6 Willand Drive, Somersworth, NH 03878).
- Camp Check-in is located at the front reception desk at The Hub.
- YOU MUST check-in/check-out your child at the front desk, they can not walk in on their own.
- 9:00–9:20 → Warm-up + group game
- 9:20–10:30 → Theme sport block
- 10:30–10:45 → Snack
- 10:45–12:00 → Theme competitions
- 12:00–12:30 → Lunch
- 12:30–1:30 → Classic games (dodgeball, kickball, etc.)
- 1:30–2:30 → Team challenge / tournament
- 2:30–4:00 → Free play + pickup games
- Refillable water bottle
- Athletic, closed-toed footwear only (sneakers)
- Socks
- Books (there will be a quiet activity time after lunch everyday where campers may spend their time reading a book, coloring, crafts, etc.)
- Sunscreen (Please apply sunscreen to your camper in the AM before coming to camp. For safety reasons, we do not share sunscreen among campers)
- Sport specific equipment (for Sport Specific Camps)
- Do not send iPads, DS Games, Cell Phones, card games (including Pokémon) or anything of value.
- Please label everything you send to camp with your child
Prepare for Camp
- Backpacks – According to regulations, medications, cosmetics or anything marked “keep out of the reach of children” are not permitted to be stored in your child’s backpack.
- Outside Play – Fresh air and sunshine are important for a child’s health and well-being. It is important that your child be dressed appropriately for outside play. Children need to wear shoes that will permit them to run and play without injury.
- Clogs, Crocs and flip-flop type shoes are not permitted. If your child wears this type of shoe to camp, they will not be allowed to participate in the activities.

Darren Casey-Covell serves as the Youth Programs Director at New England Sports Hub, where he leads the vision and execution of all summer camp programming at The Hub. With a career rooted in coaching and youth athletics, Darren brings years of hands-on experience working with kids of all ages in high-energy, multi-sport environments that prioritize both fun and development.
Darren previously held leadership roles as Director of Programming for HERO Kid Sports and Kidokinetics, where he built impactful youth programs, led coaching teams, and worked closely with schools, communities, and families. His approach has always centered on creating engaging experiences that keep kids active, learning, and coming back for more.
In addition to his role at The Hub, Darren is currently an Assistant Football and Hockey Coach at Cheverus High School, where he helps student-athletes grow not only in their sport, but as teammates and young adults.
At his core, Darren believes sports should be fun first—because that’s where confidence, learning, and real growth begin. He is passionate about creating an environment where kids feel comfortable taking risks, learning from mistakes, and discovering their potential. Darren emphasizes life skills like teamwork, communication, resilience, and accountability—values that extend far beyond the game and into everyday life.
Children are responsible for bringing a daily lunch and snacks. Snack breaks are offered in the afternoon. Snacks are not provided. Please pack your own snack or plan on sending your child with a small amount of money to purchase one. While packing your own snack, be mindful of allergies that other children may have. Label all food items and lunch boxes with your child’s name.

Registration : $60 per day
FREE: if you are already registered in a full week of summer camps at The Hub you can enjoy one or both days for Free.
